Can't keep your pet?

SAFELY REHOMING YOUR PET

If you are looking for a new home for your pet, we're sorry you find yourself in this position. Please visit the links below to find rescues and organizations which can help you safely find a loving new home for your pet and visit our resources page.  Best of luck!

First, if you adopted your cat from Tenth Life, please email admissions@tenthlifecats.org regarding any and all returns.  While Tenth Life is a stray rescue, all of our adopted cats can be returned at anytime. They'll always have a place with us!

In fact, if you adopted your cat from any rescue or shelter that is still in operation, please contact them first. You'll want to review your adoption contract, as well. Please note that many rescues, Tenth Life included, may insert a return clause in their adoption contract as well as breach of contract terms to consider should you fail to reach out. While our goal is to keep cats with their families whenever possible, if you must rehome your pet,
we’ve listed several resources here, including options for finding pet-friendly housing and safely moving with your pet.
