|   | Dexter is a sweetheart! He is loving, gives "kisses," loves to be petted, with his favorite being a good scratch under the chin. He rubs against you to let you know his affection towards you, and also to offer a subtle hint that he would really like to some pets! Dexter is mostly grey and white, but if you look closely enough, he has a small amount of tan around his legs. He enjoys playing with toy mice and watching birds through the sliding glass doors of his foster home. Dexter has diabetes, which is under control with insulin and is very manageable. He takes his insulin very well. Dexter was taken to an animal control facility in September of 2008 after his beloved human died. He spent nine months in a cage until being adopted. However, his new human returned him in February 2009 when he discovered that Dexter was diabetic. Dexter would flourish in a home in which he would receive lots of love, compassion and companionship. |
