About Us

      Elizabeth Frick, founder and director, was born and raised in Washington, Missouri, a town only 45 minutes west of downtown St. Louis. Elizabeth´s love of felines began during childhood and developed into a passion when she moved to Chicago and worked at Tree House Humane Society. This unique shelter was the inspiration for Tenth Life. Her husband, Adam, and she have one human child, Olive, and five feline children, all of whom have special needs. These kitties were the motivation for Elizabeth to help as many other needy cats as she could.
